Duly Processed

Five months ago, two students were bored in my class and asked if they could work on something more challenging, so it was suggested that they enter a film contest. Congratulations to Lab School of Washington eighth graders Simon Yeo and Tucker Hemphill, who won 3rd prize in C-SPAN's 2012 StudentCam competition for their documentary, Due Process in the Digital Age. There were over 1200 entries, and Simon and Tucker will split $750 prize. In September Simon and Tucker were bored in my integrated technology class, as they had extensive technology experience at summer camps. So they asked for a more challenging assignment, and on many days they worked on this film rather than working on the normal classwork. Simon and Tucker will be interviewed on C-SPAN at 9:15 AM on April 9th. Please find the film by clicking here
